Our Vision- our roadmap to the endless horizon

My definition of vision- The act and art of planning success through optimism, positive thinking, being grateful and the manifesting of good will amongst the people and companies that we come in contact with and do business with.

Our vision is to own and operate a minimum of 10,000 .com.au, .net.au domains, other TLD’sĀ and websites by July 2010 and to be on the ASX by July 2011. Our strategy is simple: Be positive, have faith, have fun, enjoy the ride, make friends, drink beer (James not Barry), donate to charitable organisations, work hard, be fair, watch our competitors without focusing on them, remain humble and above all, be ourself.

In order to achieve our goal with this vision, as you can see with our company only owning approximately 2,500 domains, we’re in the market to buy domains today. Email me and let me know what domain or domains you have, what your accepting price is and then we can talk. I can share with you right up front that I do not like negotiating. With this said, I’m not beyond negotiating, but I like to do business professionally, quickly and for both people to win in the deal. If you do email me, be prepared for a counter offer and most offers are good for only 24 hours. Now that we understand that I kiss on the first date, let’s go out! ;)

2009 VISION UPDATE

It’s been approximately 6 months since I first wrote our vision statement. I was told a lot of companies don’t have a “vision page” and people actually wondered why I placed one within our website. I believe in vision. I believe in visualising what I am doing today as well as tomorrow and into not only next year, but even beyond. If someone doesn’t have goals that are written down, then they’re called aspirations and lots of people can have those, but they seldom become achievements.

I will go ahead and stretch my imagination and even write this down on my vision board in my office. “I now see Pacific Octane Pty Ltd owning and operating over 50,000 websites by July 2011. I see us reaching our intial business plan goal of 10,000 by 2010 early and having 10,000 by June 2009.”

We are moving forward. Did someone say “global meltdown”? Did someone say “recession”? We are growing exponentially every month and are looking to do big huge monstrous GYNORMOUS things in 2009. My question to you is this: Are you watching or are you doing?
